Getting Festive with Lush!

Hey everyone!

Recently I was invited to a lovely zoom event with the team at Lush Birmingham and was introduced to some of their most popular festive products. I am always drawn to Lush because of the beautiful scents that flood out the door when you walk past, but especially at Christmas time there is something extra special. I was also amazed to find out the Lush based in Birmingham city centre has its very own spa! I had no idea and have even been in the store a number of times, so I can't wait to book myself in in the near future!

Some of the products that stood out to me most were the *'Snow Fairy' Bubble Bar Roll, one of their most popular scents and comes in a variety of products. But in particular the Bubble Bar Roll is perfect for creating luscious bubbles with a gorgeous scent of bubble gum! It left my skin so soft and hydrated too which is probably thanks to the Persian lime oil that is contained within it. A fun product, but one that also brightens your skin!

'I want a hippopotamus for Christmas' bath bomb

Another is the *'I want a hippopotamus for Christmas' bath bomb. Ok so Lush bath bombs to me are the elite. I have not used a bath bomb yet that feels as luxurious as Lush. They are fun and have so many aspects to them, not only the scent, how they make your skin feel, but the visual aspect too, they create an experience in the bath that you just have to try. This one in particular is raspberry scented and has glitter in it! Need I say more. I admit my little girls bagsied this before I could even say Lush and they enjoyed every last bit of it!

In particular the *'Roasting Chestnuts on an open fire' body wash is another fantastic product. The scent is strong and one I would say is not going to be everyones taste. It is bright orange, which I absolutely love and brings a little fun to showering, but the scent is so deep and spicy that it brings an instant warmth to a dreary winter shower. I really enjoy this in my routine and it leaves my skin soft and smelling yummy for ages.

My favourite product of theirs has to be the *'Yog Nog' body milk, a product that should be applied after showering. It is a very hydrating product but so light in its formula. It contains Almond oil and Vitamin e and is very softening but not oily at all. The scent is the most interesting thing about this product, it starts of smelling quite yoghurty but as it sinks in, it turns more spicy and just leaves you smelling edible all day. If there's one product you must try it is this!

Four Lush Bath and Body products

That's my little round up of some of the Lush products I am loving, they make perfect gifts too! Have you tried any Lush products you would recommend?

Amina xx
