Holiday makeup essentials!

Hi Everyone! How are you all?

I have just got back from a week in Cyprus and it was amazing! I can actually say for the first time, in a very long time, I am feeling relaxed, fresh and ready for anything! And it has got me so excited for Spring/Summer and the lovely weather (fingers crossed!)

As you know, I have kids so had to pack carefully making the most of any space I had. I decided to only pack a few key makeup items and needless to say, I made the most of them! My Manizer Sister's Trio by The Balm cosmetics (£24) was particularly handy. This is such a great choice as it has a bronzer, highlighter and blush all in one. They are also perfect for when the sun is shining as it just makes your skin glow.

I personally just love to sunbathe and soak up some rays, so it was great to use the bronzer to accentuate my tan too! The Mary-Lou Manizer allowed me to highlight and just gave me a gleam and the pink blush just added a bit of rosiness to my cheeks. I was so glad I took this with me and is now an essential in my holiday makeup kit.

To compliment the look I used Rimmel Moisture Renew in Saved by the Bell (£6.49), which is a orange toned lipstick with a gold shimmer running through it. In the day, I would also wear my Dermalogica Climate Control Lip Treatment (£8.20) to protect my lips from drying out or getting burnt in the sun. I then changed my eye makeup depending on how I felt. Sometimes I opted for a liquid liner or smudged kohl look and sometimes I simply wore mascara.

The finished look was a sun kissed natural look which is perfect for the hot weather. Let's face it, the last thing you want is feeling like you have a load of makeup on.

What do you think of my holiday look? Have you got any holiday makeup essentials? I would love to hear what makeup you can't live without.
Amina xx
